Geology transformed into art
Inspiredbygeology started with a trip to the Tuscon Rock and Gem show and then a vintage 1960's slab saw. My daughter, Tracy also has a passion for rocks and started making beautiful wire wrap pendants. She convinced me to take a jewelry making class and now I'm hooked with silver-smithing. I developed a friendship with Bob at Aanraku glass studio http://aanraku.com/ and went into making belt buckles, wine stops, and key chains using blanks from aanraku. I love making anything involving lapidary, but not much fun in selling it. However, my house will slide down the hill from the added weight, so I have to do something. Anything you buy will help avoid this disaster!
I also do custom orders
